About Us

Canadian Nurse Practitioner Services is a unique healthcare-based organization with nearly 100 years of combined experience that delivers high-quality medical care services using world-class customer service principles.

We aim to change the healthcare environment by truly transforming our clients’ experience across the continuum of care. We believe that our partners and clients can and should expect more from their healthcare providers.

Although public access to resources is a notion that we support and believe in, we feel that the segment of the population that has the highest needs and utilization rates receives the least amount of care and attention. Unfortunately, our public health sector is built based on care principles that are decades old, when aging was not an issue; this, however, is rapidly changing, but legislation fails to adapt, resulting in healthcare delivery inadequacy.

If you happen to be an executive, access to immediate care and interventions are not always available. Sitting in line, waiting months for referrals or tests, travelling for visits and appointments, fighting for access and tests and most importantly wasting valuable time that could be used for business or family-related activities is likely the current reality.

CNPS is changing the healthcare landscape by providing peace of mind. We offer our corporate partners and executive clients solutions for primary healthcare access.

We alleviate the worry and struggle of healthcare navigation and access by providing corporate partners and executive clients with the healthcare solutions they need when they need them 24/7, 365 days a year.

What is an NP?

A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a registered nurse (RN) who has completed advanced education and clinical training, allowing them to provide a broader range of healthcare services compared to a registered nurse. Nurse Practitioners play a crucial role in the Canadian healthcare system, offering primary care, managing chronic conditions, and providing specialized care in various settings.

They possess the knowledge and skills to:

  • Make a diagnosis, identify a disease, disorder or condition
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Communicate the diagnosis and test results to the patient and to other health care professionals
  • Recommend or prescribe treatment—including drugs—and specific procedures

NPs work in a wide variety of health care settings, within the community in home care, long-term care, public health care and primary health care, as well as in hospitals, etc.
